THERE IS NO AFC MEMBERSHIP
The AFC is not membership-based. There are no AFC member filmmakers. We are merely an educational, volunteer, cultural project whereby interested persons can attend filmmaking workshops and participate in discussion groups.
Most of our students wish to learn about filmmaking from a cinema appreciation point of view. A few go on to produce short films either independently or with the assistance of the AFC, to help consolidate the theory they have learned from the workshops and discussions.
As in other educational institutions, AFC filmmakers take their newly developed filmmaking skills and pursue their filmmaking interests professionally or continue to produce films as a passion.
